A Dragonfly symbolizes Prosperity. So why not call it Prosperity or something similar?

More suggestions:

* Free flight - because they can fly at up to 30mph and make it look to effortless

* Skimmer - they always used to skim our swimming pool growing up, seems that they take to wine barrels as well :)

* Dasher or Silver Dasher - "blue dasher" is a type of firefly, they're really pretty and actually look silver! here's a picture: http://bit.ly/npeu6

Just a few thoughts that came to mind.

Good Luck!!

Eve, We have met and have taken all the ideas into consideration. We have agreed on an approach and name. Could you please let everyone know that we have decided on a name and we will publish the results to you, face book members and club members probably next week. (maybe by Thursday so you can publish it Friday if you would like.) We need to secure the DBA before we announch the new name. Thanks sooooo much with all the help

Reason for name:

As our wine got good, we started getting offers from people to buy the wine but couldn’t sell it because it wasn’t produced under a bonded commercial winery license. We struggled with a name for almost two years. Then one September night after a full day of harvest and fermentation duties, we decided to completely remodel the winery. At about 2 am, after hours and hours of work, we both took a deep breath and as we admired the results, a dragonfly flew between both of our heads, landed on one of our barrels and enjoyed the moment with us. And that’s how Dragonfly Winery got its name.

Steve,

Sorry to hear about the name issue. Can you share why you chose it in the first place?

In the meantime, what about:
Petalura [http://www.threatenedspecies.environment.nsw.gov.au/tsprofile/profile.aspx?id=10600]

I'm looking forward to trying your wines at CalArts at the end of the month. I've seen some bottles in a locker near mine at All Corked Up. Is this your locker?

Good luck.
