#2 Out of 10 Super Strange Spa Treatments

Nope, your eyes don’t deceive you.  I got this link from quite a few Twitter pals that thought I needed a steaming bath.  Apparently.  Out of the ten different “spa” treatments listed in the article this one is the most remarkable and, disturbing.  Can’t say I’ve never had so much wine that I wanted to bathe in it.  The idea of drinking mulled wine doesn’t do much for me either.  And finally, the thought of what these people might be doing surrounded by all this cozy warm liquor…almost…just almost…makes me want to give up wine ever visiting Japan.  At least I don’t see any glassware about!  What say you?  Does this appeal in any way?

If you want to see all 10, click this, I did!

Or, maybe, just this blurb is all you can stomach:

2. Take a bath in tea, coffee, red wine, sake, or ramen noodles

Yunessan Spa in Hakone, Japan is a hot spring theme park catering to families. At Yunessan, the spa baths have a little more “flavor” as visitors have the choice of relaxing in pools of green tea, coffee, red wine, sake, or ramen noodles. Sake is said to be good for your skin while green tea is known to help boost your immune system.

Similarly, the Chodovar Family brewery in the Czech Republic offers bath treatments where you can soak in a tub of dark beer which is thought to help increase circulation and detoxify the body.
