Premiere Wineries, Leading Chefs Bring Talents to Pine Mountain Village’s  “Wine in the Pines” 4TH Annual event taking place in Pine Mountain Club Village


Seeking a great weekend in a beautiful mountain community?  Find it in Pine Mountain Club (PMC) on Saturday, June 12, in the Village from 12 noon to 4 p.m.  Sponsored by the Pine Mountain Club Commercial Property Owners Association, a non-profit corporation, the event features premium wines from Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties, microbrewery beers and ales, gourmet food prepared by some of the Central Coast and Central Valley’s finest chefs, live music, an art show, featuring wine-related art by local artists,  and a wine auction.  Live music is featured in the Gazebo throughout the day.

Tickets are $45 in advance and may be purchased online at www.wineinthepines.com, in person at the PMC clubhouse or through several merchants in the PMC Village.  If available, tickets may also be purchased at the door for $60.  Admission includes wine tasting, gourmet food samplings, the art show and admission to the wine auction.  Free non-alcoholic refreshments will be available for designated drivers.  Patrons must be 21-years-old to purchase wine tasting tickets.

Among participating wineries are Adelaida Cellars, Barrell 27 Wine Company, Autry Cellars, J and J Cellars, Rio Seco, Anglim, Rancho Ventavo Cellars, Staplehead , Kenneth Volk, Pianetta, Possuoli, Chien Tachete, Shai Cellars, Casa Cassara, Summerwood, Palmina, Hug Cellars, Costa de Oro Vineyards, Lucas and Lewellen Vineyards, Arroyo Robles Winery, Mandolina, Tolosa Winery, Laetitia Winery, Barnwood, Brucher, Chritian Lazo, McKeon-Phillips, Riverbench, Byron, Cambria, Summerland, Rancho Sisquoc, Wild Heart, Hope Family and Herman Story.  

Participating restaurants include Café Med, The Hitching Post Casmalia, Chef Rick, Chef Troy Tolbert of the San Luis Obispo Country Club, Chef Alfonso Curti of Trattoria Uliveto, Pine Mountain Pizza Company and Tifa Chocolate.
 
Pine Mountain Club is located just 20 minutes west of Interstate 5 at the Frazier Park Mountain Park Road exit.  Many cabins are available for weekend rental.  Cabin rental links, driving directions and other information about the event is available at the website: www.wineinthepines.com.

  1. The Ojai Wine Festival is the day after "Wine in the Pines". so it will be a great weekend to be in your end of the valley!

  2. Hi Chad! It's been a long time since I attended two different festivals in one weekend. Nice challenge! Wonder if anyone will do it!

  3. I love the multiple-day events like Auction Napa, or Food & Wine Classic at Aspen. When you don't have to squeeze all of that lovely food and wine into a short 3 hour period, it's a lot more enjoyable.

  4. Multiple-day events I can handle, it's going to one on one day and another the next. Then again, if someone were flying me to Aspen, I'd have to consider it!
