Bonjour from Paris la Belle,
Willi’s Wine Bar, 30 years old this October has just recovered from a MLR – major lightening refit & is looking simply gorgeous at this age of enlightenment, elegance & beauty. The Collection of Bottle Art Posters are all there bar one – lack of hanging space is a problem that we have too !
See photos & join us at Les Amis du Comptoir on Facebook.

Collector Posters from Millet 1986, Voisin 1988 & Octave 1987 are now available. We were fortunate to recently acquire a small cache of these original editions unearthed in a Brooklyn warehouse. These wonderful posters are in perfect condition but in very limited supply.
In Paris this June? Then join us an inspiring lunch at Macéo on Friday the 4th of June, when Roselyne Gavoty, of the delightful family domain of the same name in the Côtes de Provence at Cabasse, will be presenting wines from her production at a tasting & lunch in the Salon Bar. Macéo’s talented chef, Thierry Bourbonnais, slave to many a Provençal summer, is to make us a wonderfully fragrant lunch menu to do justice to Roselyne & her lovely crus.

Best wishes from the sunny Palais Royale,
(The above poster is mine, one of two I now own, from Willi’s “1991 vintage”. This one was bought for me by friends as a surprise birthday gift during a wine tasting weekend in Santa Ynez. I was so surprised to find the posters hanging locally, I made a Huge-Eve-Deal out of it, and I’m surprised I didn’t walk out of there with more. But more would have required me to use my own credit card…which I did finally pull out for poster #2 as a gift for my husband a few years later.)
