We have a few others, non-commercial of course, growing grapes and making wine. Pulchella and Les Deux Chats are going commercial, and Juan Alonso, owner of Le Chene, has been making wine for over 20 years. But we'll never have 100. And don't want to loose a single one!

In the early 1900's, there were over 100 wineries in the Los Angeles area. Now, there are only a few. It saddens me when I drive through the Rancho Cucamonga area and see the pitiful condition of the few, old zinfandel vines left out there.
