Wine In the Pines Teasers (NOTE: Buy tickets for $45 before noon 6/10 or pay $60 at venue.)

Updated 6/10/2010: With the exception of the few tickets remaining for sale at the PineMountain Club Property Owners’ Association business office and localVillage merchants, and the 100 held for sale for $60 for folks whowait until the day of the event to buy their tickets on a first come,first serve basis, Wine in the Pines 2010 is SOLD OUT.  1,300+, thelargest crowd ever, will enjoy fabulous wine, delicious food, an artshow and the talents of our local musicians at the wine festival onSaturday.

This Saturday will mark my first time to the 5th annual Pine Mountain’s Wine in the Pines.  I found that tickets can still be bought online until tomorrow at noon for $45 each.  (Purchase at event for $60 each.) Then I asked a few friends, on and off Facebook, natch, for the inside scoop:

Michael:  Fun event, gorgeous setting.

Mary: Who else is going?  I won a ticket! 

Russ: We will be at Wine in the Pines.  See you there!

Sandie: I may go to the Wine in the Pines… missing out on sooo much lately…all work, and no play! Hope there’s a future payoff!

Chad: The Ojai Wine Festival is the day after “Wine in the Pines”. so it will be a great weekend to be in your end of the valley!  

Diane: Eve, ask Victor Abascal. He’s done the venue before. There’s some nicewineries there…funny the website still shows Midlife and Martin andWeyrich. Be sure to try Christian Lazo’s zins – yummy!

Terri: This is a fabulous wine festival — been there a few times ….. I’mpouring for Victor — Vines on the Marycrest — come by and see me!!!He is the BOMB! : ) LOVE his vino! U will LOVE the event it! Guaranteed!

Danise: My 3rd or 4th time. Great fun event!! Wear comfortable shoes, onasphalt but some minor incline walking. You’re gonna love it, Pinetrees great venue!!

Joan: Sun block and a hat, it will be sunny and warm. Come early at the startof the event, for it gets really crowded. Besides Pines and Wines therewill be Outhouses….Most of all great fun!!!

Dusti: I’ve been there, look for a winery called Sage Brush Annie, best CabI’ve ever had. Use to work there and worked the event for them a fewyears ago. It’s fun!
