WALLY’S RALLIES WINERIES AND CHEFS FOR MICHAEL BONACCORSI SCHOLARSHIP

I attended this cool event with Michael Perlis last year.  If you search the handy box on the top left of this blog you can read the blog post about it.  I really dug the great wine and exquisite food vendors they had set up for us under big watercolor-blue umbrellas.  The guests were great, the music an added plus and it all went to a great cause: The Michael Bonaccorsi Scholarship fund.  Read below to see why you want to meet me in Westwood this coming Sunday:

WHY: Over 500 guests will help to raise over $50,000 for the Michael Bonaccorsi Scholarship Fund at U.C. Davis’ School of Viticulture and Enology.  The scholarship was developed by the Bonaccorsi family in response to the overwhelming reaction of friends and wine professionals interested in creating a lasting memorial to the man who generously shared his knowledge and talents throughout his brilliant, yet tragically short career.  The Central Coast Wine & Food Celebration is the primary source of funding for this meaningful scholarship.
