Chef 101 Humpday: Beef and Noodle Casserole

Another recipe from my Disneyland-purchased Jambalaya cookbook.  What can I say?  It’s Eddie’s favorite.  This one, albeit over-the-top-cardiac-arrest-rich like all the rest, didn’t give me tooooooo much trouble.  Except for:

  • Noodles don’t come in 5 oz packages and I don’t own a scale.
  • I own a garlic press but can’t get said garlic out of said press when I use it so I minced? cut really small.
  • My family loves mushrooms, used the whole pre-sliced 8oz package.
  • Even though the recipe called for Green Onions my husband says to just use the white end, while my sister says the green.  Not a clue which is giving the proper clue.

It was very tasty, a perfect family casserole.  Will make again.  Paired with our Joseph Phelps house wine: Mistral.
