I’m a fan of Balance Point Spa and the owner Karen Maleck-Whiteley! A few miles from home, and worth the drive as once I’m there I don’t need a flight to Bali. Anyway, for their five-year anniversary party on September 23 they invited a few vendors and while we’re shopping we can also have “MARTINIS FOR THE CAUSE”. What cause do I need to have a Lemon Drop, Cosmo or Apple Martini? None, really, but this one benefits the Single Mothers Outreach of Santa Clarita. (There’s wine too for you purists!)
