Event tickets are on sale now forthe Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley 3rdAnnual Wine Affair. Town Center Drive in the Valencia Town Center is “the place to be” on Sunday, October 17 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., as you “Sip, Stroll and Savor the Sounds”.  This event sold out last year, so youwant to get your tickets today!

This event is limited toparticipants age 21 and over. Tickets are selling fast and are available for$40 before October 10th at which time the price will raise to $50.Tickets may be purchased at www.thewineaffair.org or by sending a checkto SIGSCV, Attention: The Wine Affair, P.O. There are twelve venues to choosefrom each featuring wine tasting, food and live musical entertainment: La Via Bella,White House Black Market, Ro’Ma Jewelers, Salt Creek Grille, Valencia WineCompany, Glen Ivy Spa, South Point Grill, Carlton Hair International, Lee’sWine Bistro, The Vines Restaurant, Pottery Barn and Sisley.  In addition, Vino 100 Valencia, MalibuFamily Wines, Leona Valley Winery, Classic Wines and DiMaggio Washington willpour at designated locations. Mojito Cuban Cuisine, Paseo Club, Wolf Creek,Trader Joe’s and Sprouts will provide food at designated locations. Featuredmusic: DJ Lee spinning tunes at Lee’s Wine Bistro, the sultry sounds of LindsayHough, Stupid Pony, the Latin sounds of Ino Alvarez, Blue Sky, Jim Shrier,Fahr.west, Nicki Bente, Monkey Bump, Blue Baron Band, and Christine Day.

A VIP Reception will be heldexclusively for sponsors on Friday, October 15th at the home of G.Marshall and Shelley Hann.  Thispromises to be an exciting event featuring a “battle” to name the “Top Chef ofSCV”.  Participating Chefs are:Hyatt Valencia Executive Chef Rolf Rothen, Robinson Ranch Executive Chef EfrenGonzalez, Celebrity Chef David Lawrence, Barcelona Executive Chef and OwnerDominic Lahmidi and TPC Executive Chef Daniel Otto.  Their creations will be paired with wine from the PrivateCellars of Robert Schwartz, John Geraci, Chip Sterndahl, TGIC Importers Inc.and Stellar Imports.  The elegantevening will also include treats from Babe’s Dessert Bar and Cakery, along withsavory faire from the Poached Pear.
