On a weekend full of wine events for Eve Wine 101ers (Vine 2 Wine on June 12th co-chaired by our very own Eve Bushman, as well as the L.A. Winefest on June 11th and 12th), I’ve been given what to me is a plum assignment — covering Wine in the Pines on June 11th (www.wineinthepines.com).
If you’ve never been to Pine Mountain Village, this would be a great time to visit. It’s only about an hour from the Santa Clarita Valley, but when you get there you’ll feel like you are in another world. Not only is the venue gorgeous and the food delicious, but it is a wonderful opportunity to sample wines from both Santa Barbara County and the Paso Robles area. [And you know how I love Paso!]
If you go, track me down and say hi. Maybe we’ll even get a picture of you to post on Eve’s Wine 101 website when my review of the event runs!
Michael Perlis provides outsourced controller services to businesses that do not need a full-time controller. He balances this with his interest in wine: reading and writing about it and, of course, drinking it. He is still trying to figure out how to combine these two pursuits.
