BROTHERS RESTAURANT ANNOUNCES FINAL THANKSGIVING AT MATTEI’S TAVERN

Last Holiday Season at Brothers Restaurant at Mattei’s Planned with Memories, Friends, History and Brothers Signature Favorites

LOS OLIVOS, California; October 18, 2011 – Brothers Matt and Jeff Nichols, Owners and Chefs of Brothers Restaurant at Mattei’s Tavern, announce their final Thanksgiving Dinner feast at the Mattei’s location on Thursday, November 24, 2011. The Nichols Brothers recently announced their acquisition of the Sidestreet Café restaurant space which is currently under construction and due to open soon.  With their lease at Mattei’s Tavern ending in March 2012, family dinners and holiday entertaining for the last season of 2011 promise to be memorable at this landmark restaurant in the Santa Ynez Valley of the California Central Coast.

Brothers’ Thanksgiving Dinner begins with a starter of Mixed Baby Greens with Balsamic Vinaigrette, Stilton Cheese, Poached Pears and Candied Walnuts or their signature Kabocha Squash Soup.

  A plentiful buffet includes their Oven Roasted Turkey; Hand-Carved Slow Roasted Prime Rib, Herb Stuffing; Italian Sausage Stuffing; Autumn Vegetables; Sweet Potato Gratin; Mashed Potatoes; and Gravy.  Pastry Chef Stephanie Jackson completes the meal with a choice of her Classic Pumpkin Pie or Ditmar Farms Apple Pie. Reservations are offered from 12 p.m. through 6 p.m.; pricing is $60 per guest and $25 for children under 12, excluding beverages, taxes and gratuities.
