This is the second recipe created by the Lexington Social House’s bar manager, Kyle Ackely, that I sampled recently. I loved watching him grate the nutmeg expertly over my glass and what the surprise of tarragon did to complement this cognac-based cocktail.

2 oz Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal .
5oz Velvet Falernum .
5oz lime juice .
25oz simple syrup
handful of tarragon
directions: quick muddle 2 sprigs of tarragon in a pint glass, add all ingredients, shake and strain over ice in a Collins glass and top with ginger ale and club soda. Garnish with a sprig of tarragon and grate fresh nutmeg over the top
