We’ve somehow managed to survive the craziness of the holiday season, the Mayan calendar thingamajig (Whew!)… And now, we get ready for one of the biggest events of the year… Beyonce’s Super Bowl halftime show!
With all the excitement, you’re going to need a strategy, a game plan, a culinary playbook to keep you from fumbling on the big day.
Rosemary Cashews will get the party started, along with a homemade Carmamelized Onion Dip that will make you forget you ever knew that container of sour cream mixed with some sort of freeze dried onion powder stuff.
Mini Corn Dogs with Spicy Ketchup will be gone before the first quarter ends and Buffalo Chicken Pizza is a twist on an all-American classic.
No football party would be complete without Game Day Chili. Hearty, spicy and everything you want as you huddle in front of the flat screen. All of this will be washed down with a refreshing Beer Margarita with a sugared chipotle rim.
To take you into the final quarter, a sweet, salty, nougaty, homemade version of the Snickers Bar. Layers of chocolate, peanuts and caramel will score a touchdown every time…
And with that, we’re fresh out of football puns.
