Experience the beauty of LA’s own Wine Country when the Sierra Pelona Valley Vintners Association hold their 1st Annual Sierra Pelona Valley Wine Festival on Saturday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Reyes Winery in Agua Dulce.  Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital.

Featuring more than 40 of Santa Clarita’s best restaurants, caterers, and wine and beer purveyors, all offering samples of their finest in the beautiful garden setting of Mann Biomedical Park, it’s always an incredibly good time for everyone. Everyone in attendance will be treated to a “taste” of unlimited food and drink samples for the all-inclusive price of $65. As a special thank you and to commemorate the 25th anniversary celebration, tickets for the reserved seating area are offered at $100, a $25 discount!  Crowd favorite Mark LeVang and Friends returns to perform live music on stage, a live and a “Super Silent auction”, Taste of the Town Marketplace, opportunity drawing and a champagne diamond drop will round out the exciting day.

Saturday May 11, 2013 8am-12pm Reyes Winery Hike of the Serra Pelona Mountains $40 per person. It includes a two hour hike through the Sierra Pelona Mountains, a light n healthy lunch, tour and tasting. Robert Reyes will guide you on a medium-advance level hike through the Sierra Pelona Mountains. You will have views of the beautiful valley from the 4000ft elevation. It’s a 7 mile hike. When you return from your hike, you may freshen up, and then have a light n healthy lunch. Next, off to the Reyes tasting room for a tasting of 5 wines. Finally, off to take a special tour of the property and our barrel room and sample 2 wines that are still in the barrels. The 8th Annual LAWineFest, will once again offer Angelenos an opportunity to sample award-winning wines from more than a dozen countries, alongside food truck nibbles and gourmet treats. Dubbed “LA’s largest educational wine festival,” the two-day festival features a variety of tasting classes taught by wine and spirits professionals, international cuisine to sample, live entertainment, and hundreds of wines, beers, and spirits to try.
