National Absinthe Day is on March 5th every year, marking the anniversary on which the Supreme Court made Absinthe legal again in the U.S. through Lucid’s efforts. But, before we get to our “own” holiday, there is plenty of celebrating to be done. Starting with this recipe:
Combine Lucid Absinthe, apple cider, and cranberry juice in a shaker over ice and shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Drop the Chambord to the bottom of the glass. Skewer Granny Smith apple wedge on a pick and lay length wise across the edge of the glass.
