Eve Wine 101 SCOOP: The NEW Menu at Vines Restaurant and Bar (Effective March 15)

I had a lovely time at Happy Hour yesterday at Vines Restaurant and Bar at the Hyatt on Town Center Drive.  Instead of sitting in the bar (where most Happy Hours take place) I had the option of sitting in the patio overlooking the swimming pool and fireplace.  Instead of walking up to a buffet, the Happy Hour Bites are ordered and hand served along with whatever drink you ordered.  It’s perfect!  I’m told that the average tab, with bar bites and drinks at $5 each, is about $20.  And, as it’s self serve table service I DONT OVEREAT.  Perfect again.  I did notice one thing when I left and strolled through the bar – there were oodles of people there getting the same service, and looking like they were having a very grand time at that.  I had to wonder, how soon before this crowd stays for dinner once the new menu rolls out on March 15!

So here’s the SCOOP.  Vines, the only restaurant in town that can offer you a bed when you’ve had too much to drink, is introducing a new menu!  And I got it last first!  Pays to make friends at Vines!  So…without further adieu…here it is, look for some of your old favorites here too:

  1. I am so happy to hear this, Eve! Jon and I loved their food and wine pairings last year, went to a few of them. Will have to retry the Happy Hour. And looking forward to the new menu. Their chef is fabulous!
