I had a lovely time at Happy Hour yesterday at Vines Restaurant and Bar at the Hyatt on Town Center Drive. Instead of sitting in the bar (where most Happy Hours take place) I had the option of sitting in the patio overlooking the swimming pool and fireplace. Instead of walking up to a buffet, the Happy Hour Bites are ordered and hand served along with whatever drink you ordered. It’s perfect! I’m told that the average tab, with bar bites and drinks at $5 each, is about $20. And, as it’s self serve table service I DONT OVEREAT. Perfect again. I did notice one thing when I left and strolled through the bar – there were oodles of people there getting the same service, and looking like they were having a very grand time at that. I had to wonder, how soon before this crowd stays for dinner once the new menu rolls out on March 15!
