Wine and Jazz Spring Fling

Guy Lelarge, and your friends at Valencia Wine Company, are welcoming spring in a whole new way: they’ve just announced their first-ever mid-year over-the-top wine tasting event for the afternoon of Sunday April 27.

VWC_picStarting at 2pm guests will have a ticketless tasting of several hand-picked wines, beginning with Champagne Nicolas Feuillate D’luscious (a Demi Sec Rose), Mimi Chardonnay, Erath Oregon or Estate Pinot Noir, Seven Falls Cabernet Sauvignon, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Artemis, and Spring Valley Frederick Red blend.  At press time you may also find in your glass: 14 hands Pinot Grigio, Anew Riesling, Spring Valley Uriah Red blend and Antinori IL Bruciato.

Lelarge commented, “You’ll have to come to the event to see which of these wines, and there are more than one, received over 90 points from wine critics with Wine Spectator magazine!

The cost will be only $15 – complementary for wine club members as usual – and reservations are not necessary.   All of the wines offered in the tasting will be available to order, and only those in attendance will be able to order them at a special discount.

And once your palate is sated, the rest of your senses can enjoy the sounds of the uber-popular James Hagen jazz quartet from 5 until 8pm.
