Chef Eve 101 Makes: Bolognese Sauce, shared by Amber Smoak and Steve Galloway

In looking for a flavorful Bolognese sauce I turned to, yep, Facebook again.  I’d made more than one before, but they lacked something.  Many helpful friends chimed in, and I ended up morphing the recipe below.

I added in 8 ounces of chopped Pancetta (a ham like Prosciutto), let it simmer and then added in 8 ounces of mushrooms a couple of hours before serving.  I think the key difference in this recipe, and why it fit the bill for my family, was addition of beef bouillon, ham, brown sugar and red wine.
