I learned how to make this a couple of years ago when my pal Lisa Blowers came over and demonstrated on video (link). Frankly, I hadn’t made it in awhile and when I picked up a liter of Smirnoff Vodka flavored with orange for about $18 from my neighborhood Ralph’s closing sale, I “revisited” the easy recipe. Lisa recommends Svedka Clementine vodka, and I’d have to agree, it’s better than the harshness of Smirnoff vodkas. In fact, I had tried a couple of cocktails with my sale vodka before I bought some fresh pineapple and pulled my glass jar out of the cabinet.
The hardest part was waiting the two weeks for the pineapple to do its job.
The result: the pineapple cut through my harsh vodka.
large glass jar and lid
bottle of Svedka Clementine vodka
two packages of freshly cut pineapple, chunks or spears.
Directions
Put pineapple into jar.
Cover pineapple with Svedka Clementine vodka.
Seal tight and store for two weeks.
Serving
Fill martini shaker with ice, add in infused vodka, shake like mad, pour into chilled martini glasses (or whatever your fave glass is) and sip through the frothy goodness!

Great recipe and video–Lisa is the queen of infused fruit drinks! Eve, I like that you feature other spirits in addition to wine.
Thanks Cheryl. My WSET certification is in wine and spirits, but most people know me for wine! I’m hoping to do more, and more with Lisa!
