Once again I perused the shelves of Williams Sonoma for a starter. This time I was hell bent on finding a new one.
Eddie wanted chili and all I had to do for this one below was to add was a pound of ground beef and a 15 ounce can of mixed chili beans. We had four for dinner so I tossed in an extra half pound of hamburger.
We served it with flour tortillas, tortilla chips, shredded cheese and paired it with a nice smoky Old Fashioned made with Buffalo Trace bourbon (next week’s recipe). There was hardly anything left over, it was THAT tasty:
