The Chef’s Alliance is powered by the industry’s largest foodservice and chef-focused social data analysis platform, through Foodable Labs and the Restaurant Social Media Index, which tracks more than 200,000 chefs and 220 million global restaurant consumers over 500,000 foodservice locations.
Using this unbiased feedback, each chef’s score is measured by three different metrics, making up a 300-point scoring system. This point system is also weighted to account for major network celebrity chefs, giving all artisans an equal playing field across the board. The three metrics are: food sentiment, service sentiment and engagement, both in consumer-to-chef and chef-to-chef interactions.
Chefs and artisans from all cuisines and various regions are featured in the platform. With each artisan’s score, visitors will also find their most popular dishes, specialties, resources, biography and more.
