LAS VEGAS – The 2018 Global Wine Awards (GWA) in Las Vegas is now accepting applications for the inaugural international wine awards competition. The GWA platform is designed to crown the top wines from around the world with industry acknowledgement and a distinguished medal, awarded from industry experts. A world-class judging panel consisting of Master Sommeliers, Masters of Wine, Winemakers, Journalists, Trade Experts, and Wine Educators will judge the wines from June 18-20 at Tropicana Las Vegas with a dedicated point system. The judging process will be 100% double blind from the preliminary rounds (bronze, silver, gold) all the way to the final sweepstakes (best of show) process. All varietals – single species grapes and multiple species hybrid grapes are welcome to enter.

The 2018 Global Wine Awards is presented by Food & Beverage Magazine (12 million monthly readers); The medal winners will be announced and showcased in several issues of Food & Beverage Magazine starting July 2018.
