TEMECULA, Calif. – South Coast Winery Resort & Spa celebrates the beauty and freshness of springtime with appealing events and activities. The resort’s biannual Blessing of the Vines ceremony along with a buffet dinner with wine pairings, live music and dancing is on Sunday, April 10. Easter Brunch on April 17 serves families and friends Chef Esparza’s customary brunch along with some special brunch menu additions. And, as part of South Coast’s continuing Rhythm on the Vine® Concert Series, American pop punk singer, country artist, songwriter and musician Cassadee Pope performs on Thursday, May 19.
Blessing of the Vines

Biannually, South Coast Winery Resort & Spa shows how grateful it is to be in Temecula Valley and able to successfully cultivate award-winning vines recognized and loved far and near. It’s a time to introduce new seasonal spring wine releases. The evening starts with the blessing ceremony led by Reverend Monsignor Tom Burdick and a sparkling wine toast. Guests savor an impressive chef-driven five-course food and wine pairing repast. Live music is performed by “Anyone’s Guess”, and guests enjoy the opportunity to dance in the spring.

The Vineyard Rose Restaurant Easter Brunch with Holiday Specials

This brunch at The Vineyard Rose Restaurant is created for lovers of delicious, hearty fare showcasing products and purveyors of the region in its contemporary California cuisine. In addition to its customary brunch menu that offers selections such as Applewood Smoked Bacon Omelet, The Vineyard Rose Salad, House Rubbed Slow Roasted Tri Tip Sandwich and Mediterranean Chicken, along with cocktails, bubbles, craft beers on tap and award-winning wines, there is a temping list of innovative Special Easter Entrees available. The Specials include Asian Chicken Salad with Napa and red cabbage, radish, edamame, shaved carrot and sweet sesame soy mirin dressing; Steak and Eggs with potato-mushroom hash and chimichurri; Chicken Piccata with linguini, citrus beurre blanc, cherry tomato and fried capers; and Cheese Ravioli with sundried tomato cream sauce, toasted pignolias and shaved parmesan. The Special Dessert is Carrot Cake with whipped cream and fresh berries.

Cassadee Pope Concert in the Courtyard

Hosted by South Coast Winery Resort & Spa and presented by SOUNDSKILZ, South Coast’s Rhythm on the Vine® Concert Series welcomes “The Voice” third season 2012 winner and the first female winner of the show, Cassadee Pope. This multi-talented pop punk/country singer and musician embarked on her solo career in 2012 and has been wowing followers ever since. Her debut country album “Frame by Frame” was released in 2013 and was No.1 on Billboard’s Top Country Album list with 43,000 copies sold in its first week. Opener act is Leaving Austin.
