Amy’s Wine

March 10, 2013 by evebushman

From a Facebook friend:

You may have to bump up the recipe cause I make it in small amounts, but here it is:

Apple Peach Wine (but you can name it whatever you want)
It’s actually very simple:

Grind up 3 cups of apple without the pealing.

3 cups of peaches.

1 cup of Oregon grapes.  (I asked about this, seedless, any purple grape will do but Amy says Oregon grapes are sweeter.  Or substitute 2 cups apples.)

Mix in 3 cups of sugar and 2 cakes of yeast.

Let it ferment for at least a week.

Then strain out all the sediment.

Let it sit for another 3 days and strain again, by then it should be clear of all sediments.

Then it’s ready to chill. I hope you like it, let me know how it turns out.
