A wonderful fall salad that is good enough for company
Serves 4
Dressing
6 T. VOM FASS FassZination Walnut Oil
4 T. VOM FASS Pear Balsamic Vinegar
2 small shallots, thinly sliced
thyme, 4 sprigs minced, stems removed
Whisk all of the ingredients together until homogenous.
Add salt and pepper, to taste.
Salad
6 c. baby romaine lettuce
1 red pear, thinly sliced
1 c. toasted walnuts
1/2 c. crumbled gorgonzola cheese
Toss all of the ingredients with the dressing, and add salt and pepper, to taste.
