Given the catastrophic devastation caused by this week’s 7.0-magnitude earthquake in Haiti, Vino 100 Valencia will collect donations for CARE’s Haiti Relief Efforts beginning on Saturday, January 16 through the following Saturday, January 23 during normal business hours. Vino 100 is located at 28112 Newhall Ranch Road, Valencia, in the HighRidge Crossing Center at Copper Hill Drive, Valencia in the city of Santa Clarita.
CARE has worked in Haiti since 1954 with an office in now quake-damaged Port-au-Prince. Along with other relief organizations, CARE is responding to the humanitarian situation in this impoverished island nation deploying additional emergency team members. CARE has launched an international appeal for funds for Haiti that will support immediate emergency operations.
Donations may be made by cash or check made payable to CARE. One-hundred percent of funds collected will go directly to CARE earmarked for the Haiti Earthquake Relief effort.
