The modern American steakhouse brings its high-energy dining experience to Napa’s luxury resort landscape in May 2026
NAPA VALLEY – Innovative Dining Group (IDG), the award-winning hospitality company behind BOA Steakhouse, Sushi Roku, and Katana, will debut BOA Steakhouse Napa in May 2026 at the newly reimagined Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley, Curio Collection by Hilton. The opening marks IDG’s first Napa Valley project and its continued expansion into lifestyle resort dining in Northern California following the successful opening of Sushi Roku in Palo Alto, CA, in 2024.
Since opening its flagship in West Hollywood in 2001, BOA has redefined the American steakhouse with a bold, contemporary approach that pairs premium ingredients with vibrant design and a distinctly social atmosphere. In Napa, that energy will blend seamlessly with wine country sophistication, delivering a dining experience that feels equally at home amid vineyard views and celebratory evenings out.
“When we expand, we look for properties where our restaurants can feel intrinsic to the guest experience, not just added to it,” said Lee Maen, partner, Innovative Dining Group. “With family roots in the Napa Valley community, this project feels especially meaningful. Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley’s emphasis on elevated hospitality, design-forward spaces, and gathering around food and wine makes it a natural home for BOA. It’s a resort that encourages connection and celebration -exactly the environment where our steakhouse thrives.”
“We are pleased to welcome BOA Steakhouse to Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley as part of our reimagined vision for the property,” said Julie Ramirez, general manager, Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley, Curio Collection by Hilton. “BOA brings a level of culinary excellence, energy, and brand recognition that perfectly complements Napa Valley’s reputation as a world-class food and wine destination. Their commitment to quality, hospitality, and elevated dining makes them a natural partner for our resort, and together we’re creating a restaurant experience that enhances the stay for our guests while also becoming a destination for the local community.”
BOA Steakhouse Napa will be led by Corporate Executive Chef Brendan Collins, who oversees culinary direction across the brand. Known for blending his British roots with Californian influence, Collins brings a résumé spanning Michelin-starred London kitchens and celebrated Los Angeles restaurants, including Waterloo & City, Fia, and Market Tavern. The Napa menu will feature BOA’s signature dry-aged prime steaks, including its 21-day Tomahawk and Japanese A5 Wagyu, alongside its iconic tableside Caesar salad and an extensive, sommelier-driven wine program. Seasonal, locally inspired dishes will reflect the region’s agricultural richness, complemented by a refined cocktail program that fuels BOA’s signature high-energy bar scene.
Following a brand-wide culinary evolution across all BOA locations this year, the Napa restaurant will open entirely with non-seed oils. Exclusively using avocado oil, pomace olive oil, and beef tallow, this deliberate decision ensures BOA’s flavors remain uncompromised, continuously innovative, and responsive to evolving guest expectations.
For the Napa Valley location, IDG partnered with renowned design firm Backen & Backen, whose work has shaped the region’s architectural language for more than three decades. Selected for the firm’s deep expertise in site-responsive design, the project is being led by John Taft and Ann Backen, with Backen & Backen overseeing both architecture and interior design. The resulting restaurant will blend modern architectural lines with natural, Napa-inspired materials to create a relaxed indoor-outdoor experience set among mature olive trees and lush gardens. A restrained palette of stone, wood, and steel will reflect the warmth of the surrounding landscape while maintaining BOA’s sophisticated edge.
“Rather than imposing a concept, our goal was to let Napa Valley naturally inform and shape the steakhouse,” said John Taft, Partner at Backen & Backen. “We are focusing on proportion, light, and material honesty – stone, wood, and steel that feel as though they belong to the land. The architecture will open outward to gardens and olive trees, allowing the landscape to become part of the dining experience. That dialogue between building and site is central to our work – and a continuation of our philosophy that has shaped Napa Valley for decades.”
With locations in West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach, Las Vegas, Austin, and Scottsdale, BOA Steakhouse has built a reputation for delivering a steakhouse experience that goes beyond tradition, where precision-driven cuisine, striking design, and a dynamic social setting converge. The Napa opening further cements IDG’s position as a leader in destination-driven dining. For more information on BOA Steakhouse, please visit www.boasteak.com or contact info@boasteak.com.
