And the winner is…”I Must Taste You” by Candy Sparks

Yesterday I ran a really quick contest via this site and Facebook, where I asked readers to write a poem about wine and the winner would get a ticket to this Sunday’s Rhone Rangers event.  (Buy Tickets here: http://www.rhonerangers.org/calendar/losangeles.php ) We only had a few hours for our contest, but when this poem by Candy Sparks  hit my Facebook page, OMG, it scorched my wine lips.  And boy, did we have a winner:

Candy Sparks

Candy Sparks: “I Must Taste You”

My desire has transpired
I am in need for thee
My dark robust lover

I beg for you to come to me
I am on my knees
Awaiting your every wish

That is when our lips touched
A sweet dry love affair
My cheeks flushed with arousal

I wish you could linger longer
You scent caress my soul
I beg for more and more

When my glass is empty
I looked to the waiter
And order more of you my lover; my wine
