In a very simple recipe listed on the back label of Compari I discovered the perfect Negroni. If you are a gin fan this is a killer cocktail, not too sweet at all, and very pretty too:
Ingredients:
One ounce Gin (I’m a Hendricks fan for the juniper all gins have but also the other botanical they add, including cucumber and rose petals.)
One ounce Sweet Vermouth (Never noticed a difference in brands, if you have please comment and enlighten me!)
One ounce Compari
Directions:
Fill a martini shaker with ice, add each ingredient, shake like a madwoman, then pour into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a orange or lemon slice.
