Trust me, you don’t want a DUI! They are so easy to avoid, and so devastating on your life. Our firm charges between $2,000 to $4,000 to represent DWI clients, not to mention court costs from $750 to $15,000, jail time, community service, suspension or revocation of drivers license, drug/alcohol classes, job loss, automobile impound, etc., etc. Also, any amount of alcohol in your system can trigger the chaos above – even ONE drink!
The best things to do if you are going to drink is have a designated driver who does not drink at all. If you don’t have a dry DD, then stay local and call a taxi (661-260-2227). Each $20 taxi ride will save you thousands of dollars, not to mention your life and reputation.
Funny story: one of my friends needs his car at home each morning, so he calls 2 taxis, one to drive him home and the other to drive and park his car in his driveway. Because he does this each time, the taxis even give him a great deal (+/- $35).
