Nichols Family Preserve Another Link to Santa Ynez Valley History with Renovation of Building and Return of Brothers Restaurant

Brothers Matt and Jeff Nichols, owners and chefs of the new Sides Hardware and Shoes, a Brothers Restaurant in Los Olivos and the former Brothers Restaurant at Mattei’s Tavern, confirm that they have acquired the Red Barn Steak House located at 3539 Sagunto Street in Santa Ynez, California, in Santa Barbara County.

The remodel has begun on what will be Brothers Restaurant at the Red Barn.  The Nichols brothers anticipate an opening in early fall as they redesign the interior and finalize menus inspired by the cooking that their fans have enjoyed for sixteen years in Santa Barbara County.  Additional developments and progress on the new venture will be announced on Brothers Restaurant website, Facebook and Twitter feeds.
