Mixology and Food Pairing Part 3 of 4: Lamb and Beef Sliders paired with a Manhattan

Recipe for: Lamb and Beef Sliders

(Makes 30 2oz serving)




2 lbs. ground beef 80/20

2 lbs. ground lamb

2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

2 tsp. dry mustard

Kosher salt, to taste

30 small cubes feta cheese

Oil blend

30 slider rolls





·In a large bowl, combine beef and lamb.

·Season with Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, and Kosher salt. Mix until well combined.

·Divide mixture into 2 oz. portions. Shape each portion around a feta cube, making a patty.

·Grill or cook patties until medium rare.

(Makes 1 serving)




2 oz. Rye Whisky

½ oz. sweet Vermouth

3 to 4 dashes of Angostura bitters

¼ tsp. Luxardo cherry syrup

1 Luxardo cherry for garnish





· Place all ingredients in shaker with ice.

· Shake.

· Pour into glass and garnish with cherry
