It’s been awhile since I’ve highlighted an event in West Los Angeles – that’s because I wait until they are doing something remarkable, besides just having cooler weather, to share with readers.  This is one of those times.

Sake Mini-Fest

As sake continues to grow in popularity, the demand for tastings and events has skyrocketed! To fill this void we have put together this unique mini-fest that only has been available to the trade in the past. We will have 17 of the best breweries in attendance with many of the actual brewers on hand to answer any questions. Upstairs 2 Catering will provide passed hors d’oeurves throughout the afternoon.
Plus, all white tag sake will be 10% OFF!

Some of the breweries to attend are: Hakkaisan, Nabu Bijin, Kikusui, Dassai, Takasago, and Amabuki.

At first our resident malt experts, Richard Merenbach, Mark Schwarz, and Coffield Appiah were all skeptical of “Scotch” from India, but in the end we were won over by these impressive malts. All of Amrut’s malts have been highly rated in the world of whiskey.
