HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! Well, truth be told, I found my mom’s old Quiche recipe and then realized I was posting it 3 days past her birthday, so, maybe, I get one point ahead of my siblings…today.
Loved this quiche, Eddie didn’t, but just last week he asked for it! I guess the old “Men Don’t Eat Quiche” thing goes away with age…
In case you can’t make out my pencil scratches it reads:
1 frozen pie crust thawed.
add 1 cup shredded Swiss.
add 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled.
mix together: 4 beaten eggs, 1 cup 1/2 and 1/2.
pour mixture on top of Swiss and bacon layer. sprinkle with pepper.
Bake for 45 minutes, or longer, at 375 degrees.
