Four Brix Winery has just released its first sparkling wine, just in time to kick off the holidays. Affectionately named, Baubles, this bubbly is comprised of 60% chardonnay, 40% pinot noir. Made in the methode champenoise style, Baubles has the petite bubbles that indicate a fine sparkling wine. As with all the labels of Four Brix wines, this one keeps in the same style- playful and colorful.
“We continue to expand our selection of wines and looked at what gap we could fill in the local market. No one around us has a sparkling wine”, said winemaker Gary Stewart. “Listening to customer requests and fulfilling our own love for bubbly, this was a natural addition to our wine lineup”.
Located in Ventura, Four Brix Winery is named for the owners’ love of wines from four favorite world regions: France, Italy, Spain and California. So they create blends styled after wines from these four areas. You will find an Italian style, Scosso (sangiovese-based), Spanish style, Temptress (mainly tempranillo) and several others. Our DINNER IN THE LOUNGE is November 8, 6:00pm. Join Chef Steve Stroh and Winemaker Gary Stewart for an intimate dinner at the winery. Appetizers and winery tour will start us off. Then on to a sumptuous 3-course dinner, with wines throughout the courses.
