We like the new Pulchella Winery event, “Day with a Winemaker”, as it’s not your average blending party. Besides the winemaker lesson, food and wine sampling – each attendee takes home a MAGNUM of wine. Imagine opening YOUR TWO BOTTLE-SIZED wine at a dinner party, and telling your guests that you made the wine they are drinking. It’s a thrill for them to do that every day, and we think you deserve to have the same kick! Meet me there? According to winemaker Steve Lemley, “Basically we will have tables and chairs set up for everyone to relax and have fun blending and drinking for a few hours.”
On Sunday Aug 18th from 3pm to 5:30pm – “Winemaker for a day”
As you arrive, you will be greeted with a glass of wine and an appetizer plate as we settle down for “class.”
Our winemakers will give a 30 minute presentation on winemaking with equipment displayed. The fun will continue with a blending class where our winemakers will explain in detail how they blend wines to perfection.
With beaker and wine samples at your table, you will then work to create your very own custom blend, draw it directly out of the barrel and cork it in a magnum sized bottle for you to take home with you.
