The above letter is in response to an e-mail I had sent to the new POP Champagne and Dessert Bar to find out more about a different wine bar experience. How could a wine bar, specializing in Champagne, not be a party? Though not in the SCV (they are located in Old Pasadena: 33 E. Union Street, 91103, 626-795-1295) they are the closest Champagne bar to the SCV. And they are one more bar requesting our attention and attendance…So here’s the scoop:
Over 50 wines by the glass,
flights and bottles from a wide range of producers,
Champagnes, sparkling wines, dessert wines and artisanal beers,
on site certified sommelier,
small plates, gourmet cheeses, charcuterie and home made desserts,
Just don’t show up on Monday or Tuesday – they are closed.
