I haven’t had homemade tortillas at home…but when I saw a pal making them and posting pics on Facebook I asked her for the recipe. Apparently it came on an antique dish towel she had bought, see below.
To pair our tortillas I went to the Sabor website, a local favorite restaurant. These are the ingredients they use. I’ll leave it up to you to decide if you want to tackle these yourselves, or get over to the restaurant while your tortillas cool:
Bentley Margarita Don Julio 1942, Cointreau, fresh juices
Margarita De La Casa
El Charro de la casa Reposado 100% Agave Tequila
Organic Margarita Tierra Blanco organic tequila, agave nectar, and fresh juices
Sabor Margarita Patron Silver, Patron Citronge Orange Liqueur, fresh juices, orange twist
