Los Angeles, California – wineLA is spreading the word and Elevating Zinfandel’s reputation – as the best in the business gather for a ZINFANDEL Summit. “Best efforts in Zinfandel are to be considered amongst the best wines of California! No one makes Zinfandel like we can in California and when it’s done well, it should be highly sought after by the high end wine collector. This gathering of top notch producers will inspire, enlighten and hopefully further fuel the consumers interest in quality Zinfandel” states Event Founder and Beekeeper Cellars co-winemaker, Ian Blackburn. “This is what we do at wineLA – we create niche events that inform the top level trade accounts earlier in the day; pushing information and selection to the trade and pulling that information through the thirsty consumers later that day.”The best of the best Zinfandel producers have been invited and will gather: Biale, Beekeeper, Bedrock, Brown Estates, Chase, Hendry, Jeff Cohn, Martinelli, Mauritson, Quivira, Passalacqua, Rafanelli, Ridge, Seghesio and Turley… all with namesakes and or winemakers coming to rub elbows with our intimate audience. Only 100 tickets are available.
General Admission tickets can be purchased for $85 ($100 after April 15th) and include unlimited wine tasting and an elegant assortment of appetizers, cheeses, and desserts. Wine aficionados can choose to purchase a VIP ticket for $125 ($200 after April 15th) which includes early admission, exclusive tasting of older vintages, buffet dinner and luxurious sponsorship gift bags.
Guests will also have a chance to bid on an array of extraordinary auction items: rare wine, dinners, collectables and trips ranging in value from $100 to $10,000. One hundred percent of the silent auction proceeds benefit “ZAP” Zinfandel Advocates & Producers, a 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to education and research to study the history, genetics and propagation of Zinfandel and to ensure it’s future.
Elevating Zinfandel will commence at 7:00 p.m. for general admission ticket holders and 6:00 p.m. for VIP attendees.
