LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Philharmonic announces the return of the Market Tasting Series for the 2023 summer season at the Hollywood Bowl. This offering from Hollywood Bowl Food + Wine allows visitors to participate in wine tastings hand-selected by Caroline Styne, named Outstanding Restaurateur of the Year 2018 by the respected James Beard Foundation.
“I am proud to say that once again, we will be hosting our free Market Tasting Series on Wednesdays and Sundays at the Hollywood Bowl. I truly love allowing our theater guests to get up close and personal with my favorite wine and beverage professionals. It’s a fun and educational way to start your night at the Bowl!” states Caroline Styne.
The complimentary wine tasting series begins with the annual Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival on Sunday, June 18, 2023, in the Plaza Marketplace at the Box Office Plaza. The series continues through Sunday, September 24, 2023. Offered three hours before performance time, the tastings are a small gathering place where guests can meet celebrated vintners and beverage professionals like Tobin Heminway, Grey Hartley, Piper Overbaugh, Jeremy Garber, Megan Kunin, Jeff Fisher, Chase Hawkins, Chris Cornejo, Babak Shokrian, Ann Miller and Jim Knight, among others. Wines and beers featured in the tastings are available for purchase at the Plaza Marketplace and other select Hollywood Bowl Food + Wine locations.
Note that ticket holders that use the Hollywood Bowl Park & Ride or shuttle bus can show their ticket to receive 20 percent off purchases at the Hollywood Bowl Plaza Marketplace, including wine purchases.
