“WHO’S ON THE VINE? AT SILVERADO” ANNOUNCES ITS 2024 MONTHLY NAPA VALLEY WINE DINNER SCHEDULE

12 Exclusive Dinners: Silverado’s Chef and Napa’s Best Winemakers Unite

NAPA, Calif. – Silverado Resort, an iconic landmark resort in the heart of classic Napa Valley wine country, presents “Who’s On The Vine? At Silverado” a monthly wine dinner series pairing exceptional regional wines with intimate four-course dinners created by the resort’s executive chef Patrick Prager and his culinary team. Held in the resort’s Royal Oak private dining room, each dinner will start at 6 p.m. and feature a local winery. Room packages are also available.

The 2024 wine dinner schedule at Silverado Resort follows:

Burgess

Thursday, February 1, from 6 to 9 p.m.

This ensemble of Napa Valley Mountain vineyards represents a legacy of 150 years devoted to traditional farming on volcanic, stony soils and growth on the steep slopes of Howell Mountain. This mix created Burgess in 1972, focused on making outstanding cabernet sauvignon.

Tank Garage

Thursday, March 7, from 6 to 9 p.m.

This cool, fun and interesting Calistoga winery, located at a vintage gas station in Napa, aims to add to the collective conversation by sourcing fruit from some of California’s most important vineyards.

James Cole Estate Winery

Thursday, April 4, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Located along the Silverado Trail, this small family-owned winery produces full-bodied, balanced wines by employing first-class winemaking practices. It is known for its ultra-premium cabernet sauvignon and Bordeaux blends.

Shafer Vineyards

Thursday, May 2, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Shafer has sat on its original site of grape growing and winemaking since 1880 when John Shafer purchased it. The property has had 40 harvests, and its winery is well-appreciated for its elegant, rich and balanced cabernet sauvignon.

Chappellet

Thursday, June 6, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Since 1968, family-owned Chappellet has set the standard for mountain-grown wines of rare depth, longevity and elegance, produced on the beautiful and exceptional terroir of Napa Valley’s Pritchard Hill.

Orin Swift Cellars and Winery

Tuesday, July 2, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Founded by Dave Swift Phinney in 1998, Orin Swift Cellars formed a partnership with the Gallo family in the Napa Valley. Its tasting room is in a historic downtown St. Helena bank building.

Groth Vineyards & Winery

Thursday, August 1, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Family-owned since 1982, Groth’s fine, sustainably farmed cabernet sauvignon is planted exclusively on the Groth Oakville Estate – known for its gravelly, sandy loam soils containing small quartz crystals and fossils that make up the “sweet spot” of its Reserve Cabernet Vineyard.

Alpha Omega Winery

Thursday, September 5, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Established in 2006 at Napa’s Rutherford Bench, this winery produces artisanal wines drawing on Old World vineyard practices, emphasizing its unique terroir and employing New World technology.

Peju Winery

Thursday, October 3, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Top award-winning for its cabernet sauvignon, Peju in Rutherford started its history in the 1980s by making a proprietary blend of red and white grapes, called Provence, which served as a “bridge” to introduce wine drinkers to red wines of a softer style.

Duckhorn Vineyards

Thursday, November 7, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Founded in 1976, Duckhorn has celebrated 40 harvests and has established itself as one of North America’s premier Napa producers – with its crafted tradition of quality seen in its cabernet sauvignon, merlot and sauvignon blanc.

Frank Family Vineyards

Thursday, December 5, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Established in 1884, this winery located in Napa Valley’s historic Larkmead Winery produces a diverse set of three collections, which includes a limited number of reserve and sparkling wines available at the winery and on select restaurant wine lists.

Wine dinners are $150 per guest, exclusive of tax and gratuity. Dates are subject to change. Reservations are limited and can be booked online.

The resort is offering a room package for these nights with a starting rate of $509 single occupancy and $659 double occupancy. Guests can book the Wine Dinner and Resort Stay overnight room package online.
